Our foals are raised in the mountains here in Montana.
Hilary Clayton's studies have shown that this ample
opportunity to exercise at a young age is the key to the
development of strong limbs and soft tissue. We also
know that it is the key to good minds, strong social skills
and excellent trail horses. As weanlings they are handled
daily for a few months and then back to the mountains
for the summer. Our horses are started with
resistance-free techniques as three year olds. They are
then used on trails, working cattle, given basic dressage
training and started over cross rails. Our goal in training
our horses is to make them an all around enjoyable and
safe partners. We love riding our horses and hope our
customers do also.
