Facility
Ed and Valerie moved to Bigfork Montana in
the fall of 2005. Ed had spent his entire life
on
the ranch in Drummond MT. This was one
of
the biggest decisions of their lives.
They purchased 80 acres and started making
improvements. The house was the first to
undergo a face lift and then Ed under took
the
task of building a barn. They designed a six
stall lean with a 60 x 120 arena with large sky
lights. The north side of the arena has ten
open bays for ventilation in the summer and
light in the winter.
The tack up area and tack room have some
of
the ranch history built right into it. They
recycled wood from a seventy year old dairy
barn, that was located on the ranch, and
lined
these areas. The wood has amazing
character
and a special meaning. And of course, Ed's
antiques will look real nice hung on the
boards!
